The brief
Eightball came to us with the challenge of building a brand that matched their personality — bold, creative, and forward-thinking. Their previous identity felt dated and inconsistent across platforms, failing to capture the energy behind their work.
They needed a visual system that could scale across both digital and physical touchpoints, from social media to event signage. The goal was to establish a brand that not only felt premium and distinct but also communicated Eightball’s playful confidence in a way that would appeal to their modern, tech-savvy audience.
We began with a deep dive into Eightball’s story, values, and ambitions to define a core creative direction. Our focus was on balance — blending sophistication with expressive visual elements that would make the brand instantly recognisable.
The new identity features a custom logotype inspired by motion and precision, paired with a bold color palette of rich blacks, crisp whites, and electric accents. Typography choices emphasize character and clarity, while a new graphic language — built around circles and dynamic gradients — references the “Eightball” name in a refined, contemporary way. The result is a flexible system that’s both timeless and full of life.
